Tis the season to grill EVERYTHING! I love it. Not only because I really enjoy the flavor of chargrilled tasties, but also because all you really have to do is chop things up or marinate them then enjoy a cocktail whilst playing with tongs!
I found this pre-marinated pork tenderloin at the store for a decent price, so I decided to give it a try. Half the work was already done, so why not!?

It was a simple but effective pairing. The ESB was absolutely stunning. Anything that can bring back memories warms my heart and my liver. The power of beer and memory fascinates me!
Meals like this are a good example of taking 2 simple items, in this case, pork and an ESB, and bringing them together to take the dining experience to a new level. The ESB is full-bodied enough to be able to handle the spices while the pork created enough bark to withstand the sweetness of the ale.
The food and beer play off and with each other making you want another bite. The pork alone would be pretty boring. The ESB gave it LIFE.
And that's why I do what I do.
